Insurance on wheels

Hey.. I was just wondering if you buy insurance for your wheels, would the insurance company cover them for any major scratches that might occur? Orr do they only cover your wheels if they're bent etc.?

I don't think you can buy a policy for the wheels. What you would purchase is a "comprehensive" endorsement to the initial liability policy that you already have on your vehicle. Having comprehensive on your car covers a lot of things that general liability insurance would not; however, you would have to check with the agent underwriting the policy

I am sure that you can put insurance on your rims. You must send a picture of your car with the rims and a recipt to the insurance company and they will cover you for THEFT of the rims, although it raises your monthly premium. I think it is worth it.
