tell me 7th gen peeps...my friend has a 2002 Civic EX manuel...he's got his intake and exhaust....but his exhaust has no Catylac Converter...how much power increase would that be???

yah if you get the exaust system u gotta get the full system to get power .....but you might feel the car have a kick still

the only real reason you should take off your Catylac Converter is you have 50 or more shot of N2O so it doesn't melt it. or if you have turbo or supercharger, which needs a straight pipe because you don't need backpressure, the turbo gives it back pressure.

News to me. So should i spend $300 on a catback system or just get a $100 universal exhaust because either way their isn't going to be much of an increase in hp and i would rather use the $200 on altezzas or speakers because mine is going to be more show than go.

not having a cat convert, is a really big fine, its not just a fix it ticket, its a smog poluton ticket, depending on the judgem it can start around 300 +

I'd get headers, downpipe, high flow or no cat with exhaust to get the most HP increase. It's pretty risky driving without a cat though.

You mean A header.

I think the high flow cat is your best option. No cat will make your car sound very ricey. And the cat issue depends on where you live. For example, here in Florida...or least in Miami...cars of a certain model year or newer don't need to pass inspection. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
