15.9 1/4 mile ????????????

Hey Guys
I was reading an issue of consumer reports and they said that an RSX-S did the 1/4 mile in 15.9 seconds. that car has 200 hp and a mt. Does that seem slow to you guys, they said it did 0-60 in 7.3 seconds.
I don't know about you guys, but that seems very slow, but those guys are professionals. Have you guys heard differently???

It makes 15.8 in a bone stock civic harder to believe,

give me your thoughts

Let's just say it's hard to believe after watching one do the 1/4 in 14.86(bone stock).

Car & Driver did high 14's....

Average from most publications are low 15's

I never trust Consumers Reports, because they have average schmoes testing the cars... and they use too many different drivers. They also don't have the best clocking equipment either....

Plus they're known to accept bribes (just rumours)

No, I say the $hit you read on internet fourms should be used on reference only

I trust mags 100 times more than most of the internet brags

mags are notorious for getting crappy times. I mean come on. The S2000 rates in your mags at anywhere from 13.8 to 15.1 ??? riiiiiight.

The RSX-S's I've seen at the track consistently run high 14's with I/H/E, and the ones who are spraying run anywhere from low 14's to high 13's.
