Need Opinions, thinking of buying a 2002 civic v-tec

Hi i am new to the forum and i would like your guys opinion. I am thinking of buying a 2002 civic with the 1.7l V-tec and its a coupe. The car has 238xxx km on it and says most is highway km. I have not inspected this car yet i will be doing so after Christmas.

He says it has no rust only body damage it has is the rear bumper is cracked and a few scuffs on the front bumper. The interior is very clean except for the trunk has some staining on the carpet.

Comes with winter tires and some "new summer 18 "rims and tires" He said he put a new catalytic converter, o2's, and crank sensor, timing belt and water pump done 30xxx km ago, windshield and wipers are good, spark plugs done 3 weeks ago, and needs no mechanical work. I will ask for paper work on timing belt to make sure the work was performed.

he is asking $3600

so what i am asking is if you guys think this is a reasonable price for what the car is or no?

thanks for reading.
Jon

check sites that shows the estimated car value, like everyone else...
the maintenance he said has done seems the right ones.

I have a 2002 Civic COupe Ex..it had 120,XXX miles on it and it was fom a dealer for $4,900...but brought it down to $4,500. I say its a lil to high...but then again its my only opinion. YOu have to do the body work...and more work to it. Check it though. LOOK FOR LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
