What's your favourite tool and why?

I love my dremel, I didn't expect to use it very often when I first bought it but now I use it out on half my projects. I've used it for everything from repairing the threads on a wheel stud, to shaving down leds to fit in climate controls and I have a few projects in the works that I'm sure it'll be used extensively on.

I also love my boroscope, although it's not an overly useful tool, it's cool as f*ck.

Re: What's your favourite tool and why?

My Dremel has saved me tons of times. Although I have to say that 10 dollar torque wrench I bought from Harbo Freight seems to be my absolute favorite. I plan on getting a much better one in the future, but nothing is worse than snapping bolts. I always had a tendency to do that when I first started working on cars.....

Re: What's your favourite tool and why?

I bought a dremel on sale at harbor freight just to have around.

It's a tool I'd rather have and not use, than need and not have.
I've busted it out a few times here and there, but I think I use the Soldering iron more than the dremel.

I dont know why...
But by far, the best tool i've ever bought is the pittsburg right angle screwdriver

I do a lot of wall mounting projects at home...and this thing is genius. saves so much arm strength, and will go in places a drill/normal screwdriver cant get into

Mallets... iron, rubber, you call it... used them plentiful the last days... can't really stay too long working - it's 120 deg inside the garage and the house's AC is dead after 1 1/2 year out of here... hoooot!

My favorite "tool" is my can of free-all. Saves me many headaches when trying to take off rusted bolts. I know you could all agree with that

Sure freaking can.. I wish I had some penetrating oil when I was trying to get my ABS sensors free. Let me tell you it was a pain in the ***... Oh wait, I did have penetrating oil and it was still a pain in the ***. That **** does make it a loooooot easier.

For me its the jack because at least I would not be able to lift a car up without it.

Impact wrench. There's nothing like the power that a good one (IR) puts out. Makes me want to take the tires off just for the hell of it.

You must mean your "precision impact devices". I have a good selection of those as well.
