OEM fog lights w/ hid

I installed my OEM fog lights (procarparts.com) w/ HID yesterday. Here are some pics. I used a D2R bulb because it is a reflector, but I am sure the output would be better with a D2S bulb. When I have one of those I will try it out. The problem with the install was where to locate the ballast. I had Hella ballast and they are kinda big. But, I ended up putting them on the bumper beam. I just hope they do not get damaged in an accident. They are on the back side of the beam though.

Here are some pics of it in the day and night. As you can tell the beam cut off is not really sharp, but I wanted something that would light up the sides during driving and fog.

I retro fitted a HID kit with the fog lights. It was not that hard. The xenon lights fit perfect into the housings. I just used some JB weld to secure it in there.
