I have a Tafetta White Sedan LX. It has the standard black door handles, which I think look okay, but the trend now seems to be going toward color matching door handles for just about all cars. The only color that the EX is not available is in Tafetta White and I have always wondered why. Is white currently unpopular? There are a lot of white Jettas and Passats. A white EX Civic would have the color matching handles and would look impressive I think. The interior goes well too it is black/gray, black dash and upper door and the rest gray, t looks good.

i have a whire ex 2door 5sp but the interior was creme color, only color availiable.

I was just going by the 2001 brochures for the Coupe and Sedan, they both have Tafetta White as unavailable for the EX. I think I checked the Honda website, recently and I don't recall a change for the '02s but I may be wrong.

Don't you think it is mysterious that the brochure says that Tafetta White is unavailable for the EX, yet there are people materializing from remote parts of the country that have white EXs? Very strange I think.

i have an 01 Tafetta coupe. when i tried to sign up as an owner at the honda site, i couldn't choose white as my color[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

01civicboi - me too ! I thought that was freaking weird. I was entering all my info and there was no listing for a Taffeta White EX, I thought about emailing Honda and asking WTF is up with that. Oh well, I kinda like being one of the least owned colors. I've only seen one other White coupe in Dallas.

The Lone Star State seems to have received a run of these white EXs.

I checked out your ride, it's great. It even has white side mirror housings, or whatever they are called. What is that red accordion type thing by the battery?

You see a lot of White 4th gens but there aren't many White 7th gens period, I like having a rare color too.

I was once told by a honda salesman (he was fired before i bought my civic) that the accords weren't available in blue... next day i saw a blue accord driving down the street... that was the time i wasn't really seriously looking into any cars tho... and by the time i went and started seriously looking, that guy was long gone... he didn't uphold company standards or soemth9ing hehe

The factory apparently has the capability of making a white EX if it wants to.

I understood that Honda's original plan was to NOT make a white EX. Then they did anyway. That was the explanation that the dealer gave me for why I couldn't get the grey interior with the white exterior. I think white is awesome.

honda does make white ex's, however they didn't offer an ex in white in for the 2001 model year. they even have white ex on there site. click here

Yep, took me about an hour at the dealer to decide between a NBP ex sedan and a tafetta ex sedan. I chose NBP.

I wanted a EX/Si(canadian) white coupe but they never had any out in canada
white only came on the lx trim

i think here in canada si's dont get to pick tafetta white as a color
because i have never seen one on there website and in there brochures i think its really dumb that they dont have white! because i love that color[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
