weird noise,help...

Hey guys..Well about 2 weeks ago I dropped my car with drop zone springs, 2"..well my car is making strange noises..one noise is like when I brake it kind a makes a noise like somethings rubbing... or when i push accelerator n then just let go its like pang pang pang not that loud but u can hear it... something must be rubbing or something...Somebody please tell me what it is.the noise is killing me, anyone have this happen before?

Check the springs at the top where they fit in the upper perch (cup). Mine was making a rubbing noise when turning. When you install the springs, there are marks on the two upper pieces that need to line up with the strut. If they are not realigned the same way, the spring will push out of the top mount and start rubbing. I had to re-adjust the left front strut assy by taking the whole assy back off the car. The rubbing noise stopped! If you had it installed by someone, take it back and get them to check it out for you.

my car was making noises like that then i got my oil change and for some odd reason they stoped[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
