When Is No2 Bottle empty??
Well it is mpty when u use it all!!!! Da!! But what I mean is that is there any way of telling that u do not have the gas?? Lose of preassure? no boost? weight?? I am on my second bottle and I have no clue how much is left. And I have the feeling the guys that filledup last time ripped me off, b/c he charged me for a full refill after I used it like 5 times. How would I check it that it is empty?
This is just a wild guess because I haven't and don't intend on using nitrous. But why can't you just put a pressure gauge on it? Real similiar to what divers use. Could you imagine them not knowing how much air they have left, that would suck!!

All nitrous tanks come with gauges. Unless its a homemade nitrous kit you have a gauge on your bottle. Also they fill up by the wieght. The nitrous isent efective if its not warmed up, you need a bottle heater so you can raise the amount of psi of nitrous that is in your tank. It sounds like you dont have nitrous, or you shouldent because you dont know alot about it and its not somthing to toy around with.

Thanks delacampos!! That is what I thought, I had 600 psi and not that much kick. I guess that I will start carrying a portable weight with me
get a heater! if you have 1000 psi and it still doesn't kick, you can pretty much assume its empty. NOS heater from www.summitracing.com is $112 shipped. can't beat that.

yes you can. NOS and ZEX heaters run off a thermometer to regulate the tempature. This isnt always the best. NX heaters use bottle pressure (which you can select) as its turn off point, which, for obvious reasons is much better. Plus it costs the same. BTW, no, pressure gagues are ALWAYS sold seperatly from the tanks unless you buy a complete kit, which includes the gague.

NX heaters cost a significant amount more than a NOS or ZEX heater. Most companies that handle NX sell the heaters for at least $175 plus shipping. Yes, the design is better, but for most applications, the NOS heater serves the purpose well.
