Need advice for my brother's 05 Corolla
well i couldnt decide where this post should go, probably electronics, but seeing that its not about a civic i wasnt sure, so my apologizes if this is in the wrong thread. and i would post in 9thgencorolla.com but at the moment their web-site is down
Anyways, my brother has been using high wattage aftermarket bulbs on his car for sometime, and ive been warning him not to use high wattage bulbs just in case his headlight wire harness burns, i even gave him some heavy duty wire harness extensions to prevent the OEM harnesses from burning and saving him the pain of spending some bucks replacing it. being the dumbass that he is, he didnt listen to me and even after the heavy duty harness burned itself he continued to use the bulbs and i just found out today his actual wire harness burned as well. so my question is, is there anything i can do to try and fix it, or is the only solution is to go to bring his car to toyota and have them replace the entire harness?
