we finally got our Si's in Fri morning so after it was preped and gased I was the 2nd person to drive it
the interior is nice I want those seats the shifter is nice out side it looks okay the type R looks 7000 times better though performance wise its allright definatly not worth $19,440 thats what a type R should go for
this car should be the same price as the 99-00 Si
we got that puke color [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] and a white one
the dealer I work for is in Bedfordhills NY if any one wants to see it you can see my ride too
we also have a black 2000 Si out front with 40,000 miles on it

I saw the car last weekend at a local dealership (Toronto Honda). They had the Euro Yello Pearl and a black one. At the time, nobody had bought either of them yet (only 2nd day they had them out on the showroom floor). They are selling at MSRP of $25,500 + 850 freight (CDN$). I'm surprised they didn't mark up the price, but it's already more expensive than the base RSX ($24,000). Someone else already mentioned it, but the local dealerships are getting about 8 each. The shifter wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. It's a little higher, but shouldn't take long to get used to. I usually rest my hand on the shifter though, so that might be a little harder to do. I might actually have to keep my hands on the steering wheel for a change. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

I'd probably consider getting this car if only I had a garage, but since I don't have one and have to park my car around the block, I'm pretty sure it'd be stolen/broken into/vandalized within a month. (I hate my neighbourhood!)

now im not sure if anyone mentioned this but the price is 19440 for us and are the any options for it yet like oem lip kit from honda or anything. Or does this car just have everything.

I just bought the 02 black si about 2 weeks ago with 12 miles on it. I finally have 700 miles on it, and it has pretty good pick up. When I first got it someone in a 00 si rolled up on me and was racing me but I was just cruising trying to break it in properly. I could tell he was giving it his all, winding out the RPM's. I was thinking " I could take him if I tried, or at least be on par" I think this is a sweet car and the car reviewers for the magazines don't like the new hondas in general, and expected the "si"s to be sports cars. THey are just "sporty" cars quick. I recomend anyone to get this car if they are lookng for a quick, sporty, and head turning car. Honda Rules.

<< I just got back from the dealership here. They got a black SI the other day, so I went over to check it out. Unfortunately, the dealership was CLOSED...at 5 on a saturday....strange, but anyway. I am definitely one of those people that REALLY did NOT like the car before I saw it in person. I think I have changed my mind. It just looks soooo nice. I cannot say anything about how it drives, cause I didn't get a chance yet....but I think Neo did a good job of explaining it for us. If you don't like how the car looks from pictures, I STRONGLY suggest that if you can, go and check it out! >>

I didn't like it when I first saw it either, it looked like a ford focus, but once you see it in person, a focus it definitely is not. This ride is awsome, good setup all the way around for performance and sport. My local dealership has a white one and I am going to test drive it this weekend...

Yeah if I could get a SI decked out like the type-r I would definately think about it, but i'll just wait for the new accord V6 manual to come out and get one of those

I drove one the other day and it didnt impress me at all. The shifter was nice and so were the seats but overall for 20,000 I would say its overpriced and over rated. The car weighs 2750 as compared to our cars that weigh 2550 (ex) and its about the same size, not exactly what I would call a true hatch back.
