Hey,

I dropped mine 2 inches.

I have scraped many times, usually its through blind bumps or dips. I rarely scrape the speed bumps, because I go diagional and really slow. I usually have the scrapes like I said through the blind areas, where I rarely drive.

But for the most part, going the same route everyday, I have marked all the hazards and avoid them.

Ray

actually, this can be a big problem with DIY'ers who dont take caution with panels. The plastic trim inside our cars are held on by clips, and when you remove the pieces, you need to make sure all the clips came with the trim piece, and are not stuck on the car. Also, when you put the trim piece on, you need to make a mental note of where each clip is, and then apply pressure (pound ) on the trim piece where the clips are, to ensure they seat.

my car is lowerd a little more than 2 inchs with ground control coilovers. the front scrapes all the time when i pull out of my driveway. i don't like it scrapeing any more so i will raise it up a little when i get my body kit. another thing about lowering or car this low is that when you get your oil changed, your car might not fit on the jack.

i have no wheel gap thats about as much info i can give you...as for having a flat tire and not being able to jack your car up its true...so all you gotta do is find a piece of 2x4 wood and drive on it so your car will be higher so you can fit the jack under and jack your car up...

Im not sure how many there are in the states, but here in canada, all of our speed bumps are being changed to "speed humps". its like a little hill you have to go over, and its long enough that by the time your front tires reach the end of it, your back tires have just begun to go over it. it saves the bottom of my car even since i dropped it 2".
