well i was getting off work last night and i going down the freeway at 70 and all of a sudden i see some hid lights coming up on me fast it was a m3 bmw blasting away a 96 civic hatchback(dont know the model) but anyways the civic backs down and saw me and he reved me and took off. At first i was gonna just let him go but then he slowed down and did it again. i guess he want to beat me so he didnt feel bad about the bmw. but anyways he took off again but i took after. didnt take long at all to catch up, i got next to him and then pushed the pedal to the floor next thing i know im doing 115mph and back off seeing im two or three car lengths ahead. so he flys by like he did something as im hitting the exit to my house. all i know that he had was a exhaust and altezzas other than that it looked stock.(for all that say keep it off the streets we were the only three cars on the freeway)

heh, well i just about ended up in a cell about 2 days ago, i got pulled over for going 59 in a 30! i gotta go to court in about a month to see if i get my liscence revokedi hope not though......

i got my car to 100mph once on the highway. thats as fast as ill ever go (and ive only gotten that high twice, once im my 88 omni on the same highway, just to see if the car could do it since the speedo ended at 85mph)

135 is the fastest i have gone and that is maxed out. Cold air, hp header,pulleys,high flow cat,custom exhaust,nitrous,short shifter,spark plugs.

Always talk about speed limiters...no such thing on Civics. They put those on performance cars (i.e. Supra) becuase they could top out at 150+ which 99.9999% of the population can't handle and wouldn't be safe on any normal road.

Low end cars don't need 'em b/c air resistance does the limiting. The reason why you can't go faster is because the engine is at its limit. Just b/c there is rpms 'left to go' doesn't mean that the engine is capable of pulling them.
