Anyone in FL that wants turbo

I know of a local shop that is going to build me a cutom turbo, intercooled, for $4200 installed. The use turbonetics stuff and the shop is pretty reputable. I have seen SEVERAL cars that have been done by them. They just got done putting turbo on a 2001 S2000. That thing hauls.... When I talked to them they said it would result in a hp gain from 75-100. Anyone interested let me know. Maybe if a few of us can get together on this they will give us a deal. Let me know!

That is a whole lot of money for a turbo! Can't you get it done cheaper at some other shop?

would the stock engine internals handle that much of a hp gain ?? 75-100 sounds like a lot but i'm no turbo expert... Or does that 4200 come with engine upgrades ?

i think 4200 is a decent but spendy price for a turbo done by professionals. there is a formula but i think about 6-8lbs of boost is 75-100hp.

4200 is rediculous in my opinion, i am used to seeing anywhere from 1500 to 2000 for a good 6-10lb turbo boost, but i guess thats resonable for our cars
