Maybe this is a stupid question, but can I use hevier oil than the manufacture recomends or synthetic oil ? I was advised against it. I have 7000 miles on her

No the dealers will throw whatever the cheapest thing they have on hand........

HONDA recommends the oil...and they recommend 5w20......

5w20, it should be a new religion... the only upsetting thing is that not too many oil manufacturers make it in a synthetic... booooo

Call me old fashion but back in the days when I use to street race (I'm 29) No one dared to put anything lower than 10W40 unlesss it was synthetic.
