gear ratios?

i was reading motor trend and ford is coming out with a cobra that has both 390 hp and torque...and then in the stats section it said gear ratios...what is this...
also.final drive ratio which is = 2.24:1

you are asking what is the final gear ratio? well it is the last gear that drives the wheels. the one that is actually connected to your axels. on a front engine car the final gear is located in the rear axel or pumpkin.

32 valves, DOHC, supercharged, 390 hp and flat 390 torque.....no low tech at all....

prob has 3.55 rear gear......

Final ratio is something to do with all the ratios...tranny and rear-end.

BTW, the Mustang is not Low-Tech anymore!

Probably has 4.10's?
