the low down on engine codes k20c and f20c

First off I remember the thread a while back talking about engine codes. I learned from a rep whom I emailed on the question to Honda. K20C is the RSX type S engine code. That's the official code. I also worked on one recently and the K20C is on the engine itself. Some engines got the K20A code, but are simply a variation.

And someone had asked a while back... but I didn't remember where. The F20C is the S2000 engine.

PerfectD3 is an unknown quantity at this point
Sport Compact Car Magazine's talk of the RSX Type S, including the breakdown of the engine itself, refered to it as the K20C.
