I have winter road salt on to my carpet and wanted to remove it. Are there any products out there that will remove salt from carpet or is hot water and a brush the best way to go?

If you are going to clean your carpet with water and a brush, you need to remove it first, because the padding under the carpet will take forever to dry and will start to stink

Carpet is overrated anyway, i ripped mine out.. OEm floor mats are good enough.

if you do decide to clean it a product called "oxyclean" works good you can find it at walmart with the steam cleaner section.. or the regular coral blue stuff you get in the auto section works good too, but like i said, i would remove it to clean it, unless you have a very powerful steam cleaner to suck up all the water
