When I still had a Civic, it was lowered with 17" rims, blacked out, had an intake, a decent system, etc. I got revved on by every Mustang, Camaro, etc on the road. They loved me.

Then, as soon as I bought a BMW, I started to get revved on by every kid in an Integra, Civic, etc that was feeling sporty. Faster cars - those with V8s and such - don't pay attention to me at all anymore now that I have two more cylinders under the hood.

What the hell is going on? My car is stock right now... stock 16" rims, no tint, no nothing! It's an E46 3-series and has absolutely nothing on it that would set it apart from any other E46 3-series.

Whyyyyyyyyyy do I get revved on??? Is it just because I'm a young male?

Well...Im sure no matter how much people say on this forum they arent ricers or arent racers, most still think they are hot **** becuase they have civics. Its just a thing now. I get people in Civics that rev up to me when Im in my truck. Just the way **** goes and you can thank fast and furious for that.

Some people rev just to see how there car compares. I've done it before. If it has a little more power, but you know it's heavier...or auto or w/e , I'll give it a shot. I just like to run and play around with people if they're in the mood for some spirited driving.

I don't drive much now, but I get rev'd at too or they act like they wanna race.
Sometimes I think a few do it cause they hear me down shift so they think I'm rev'ing at them. A Cavi did it to me in the parking garage at the car show last weekend, but I started doing it later cause the line didn't move for 5 mins cause some dipshit stoped the line so he could get a close spot.

The funny thing is, in my moms s2k I alwwwwyyyaass get revved on. But in my wrx i can't get someone to run me. Even if their car might be faster. I think people just assume wrxs are a lot faster than they are.

hahaha I got reved on by some guy in his newly purchased mustang *not 2006 stang, just newly purchased, 2004 stang or so* I nodded no a couple of times but he kept at it , so I just ****ed with him

I did a quick launch then once i got to the set speed limit i just cruised and let his dumbass pass me

what is it with mustang owners? do they really need such an ego-boost that thy have to "challenge" all these damn civic owners to "race"?

I get people on the freeway that bug me had it happen to me the other night, and I have no engine mods, I'm not even dropped! and an 04-05 7th gen comes speeding up behind me, it was a fiji blue lx (no sunroof, I doubt he was swapped because he wasnt very fast) he was dropped and to me they looked like koenigs but I couldn't tell.... decided to tailgate me for awhile drops it to 3rd and passes me on the right (I end up slowing down so he can squeeze in front of me, because I don't tailgate people). Later I was driving faster than the traffic flow I go by an EG hatch, a del Sol, and a 4dr Integra, they decide to catch up to me, follow me (too close for comfort) for awhile and slow down to get off their exit. (and I don't race so I'm not going to attempt to show them by any means)

i say **** em here in So. flawda ppl try to race w/ me in the morning on the way to work and when im on the way back home. This one time a 04 Tang tailgated me for about 20 mins, even off my exit ramp, i took the right turn (eastbound from I95 N) doind between 50-60mph in [2] and taunted him to follow since hes RWD, he tried but spun out infront of oncoming traffic. I stopped @ the bus stop and flipped him off, then cuirsed as usually bumping my system on the way home

And this dude was asian just like me but driving a domestic (a tang at that w/ aftermarket tails)

The few weeks ago, there was a white 5.0 stang NASTY loud, he reved at me and was playing with his clutch at a stop light. But this mustang was a beast foreal i mean he had to have atleast 700hp it was no joke. Light turns green he dropped the hammer and got the front end up a lil bit and let off the gas. THe guy was pretty cool, he gave me the thumbs up and at the next light compliments my car. Im sure if theres anyone in the UCF area u know the white 5.0 im talking about, u can hear him coming like 20 miles down the road, hes got a cowl hood and Huge slicks and sexy looking weld racing rims.

LOL! done that, but pulled into a shell gas station to fill up lol, im about half way filled the tank, and the guy in the hatch that i revved at came into the gas station, after u turn. He was trying to get me to race him, i was like dude i suck. Here in orlando we go so many hatches running around its rediculous, a majorirty of them are pretty quick though.

i actually just had a green v6 mustang w/ a green underglow kit, green a-pillar neons, green washer leds, and green neons in the back seat, try to race me the other night. i sat there and laughed my *** off at him.
around here---i honestly think that there are more riced out trucks and domestics than imports--sad but true

Too many stupid people try to race me. They rev up at lights and think they are cool. I usually dont pay them any attention. They must think they can race me because I have Inca Pearl and rims and a drop. Its funny though mostly teens in hondas or Integras. Only a few have tried when Im in my G35, but in that I just laugh. Its stock rolling on winter wheels and they probably would get smoked if I tried to race. Just mostly immature people here trying to race.

hmmmmm...interesting perspectives all. IM case, i'm from NY so there's soo many bmw's lexus, infiniti's, u name it all out here, bumpa to bumpa, and whenever someone stops and looks or listens to my car they pull off fast. oh yeah a lot of nissan's 00's and 02's hooked up and think they are the fastest. jebus what loses. ne way whenever they try to race me i just slow down and here comes from behind me another faster car that just puts them to shame. what goes around comes around. idiots.

yeha same here, although one day comin home from work a guy in a ford F-350 deisel reved on me i was like revin back then the light turned green and i didn't even go i jus sat there and watched him take off HAHA
