Rep Power: 311 The new Rav4 may have some power potential, but I think they blew it. It's not a "little cute ute" anymore... they upsized and (and uglied the hell out of the available one). Let me fetch a picture of the asses, for comparisson... Done!
New front looks amazing, though... I like it way too much.

Rep Power: 238 I went and looked at one at the dealer a little while ago and it looks better in real then in the pics. It's not a bad vehicle at all.the interior is done well.DVD, leather, don't care for the third seat though.

I think it's great....a 14 second compact SUV with Toyota quality. It's the best SUV in that class for sure. Even the 4 cylinder model would be nice. The only thing I wonder about is, with its larger size, it almost competes directly with the highlander (which is kinda small for its class). They both offer 3 rows of seating

Rep Power: 311 If any of you guys buy it, post some pictures... mostly of the back or at least looking to the back. I just wanna see for sure if it really is ugly. It seems sometimes these press pictures don't catch the real vehicle as it is.

Rep Power: 0 they are dropping the current highlander and highlander would be only offered as hybrid models. the upcoming next gen highlander hybrid is more of a crossover vehicle now. the new rav4 is technically replacing it, hence the upscale of size and similarity to the cues of the current highlander.
it is 14" bigger than the current gen rav, talk about growth. it is slightly bigger than the current crv but smaller to the 4runner.
the question now lies to the next gen crv. will it go up to the challenge or will it stay as it is and just improve it's specs. with the new rdx coming up and realistically confirmed the turbo 4 with it, many people doubt that the crv will offer a v6. why would the crv offer a v6 when the rdx only offer a turbo 4? wait 5 months or so from now, then we will be able to see a glimpse of the 07 crv.

Rep Power: 323 Wow... The Rav4 looks pretty good now. I remember that cute looking 3 door that I saw for the first time several years ago... boy that was so adorable. One of my female relatives bought it when it first came out. They've grown so much.
The CRV better swing properly this time around. That is the only fault, besides the 4-cylinder only engine, that most people have.
