On my 2k1 HX my outside lightbulbs in my headlights (behind the Orange piece) only come on when I use my blinkers... I found this wierd because my ladies LX headlights, all 3 lights come on when you turn the headlights on.....

Anyone else experience this??? Is it model related?

That's pretty phat...! I wish my corners would only come on when I signal! (That actually sounds like a fixing ticket, though.) Is it me, or is there a problem with a fuse? Go to your dealer and get it checked out if it bothers you but I think that sounds tight! This means for those of you who cleared the headlights and change the signal bulb to something distinctive, the signal will stand out even more!

Oh, and take a closer look at your headlight... the signal lights in the corner... there are NOT two bulbs, there is only one! It's an optical illusion and what you're seeing is that one light bulb reflecting off the chrome like a mirror. So technically, you only have 2 bulbs (1 signal bulb, and 1 in the middle of the headlight). In the back of the actual headlight, there are only two plugs for the headlights.

What I was refering with 3 lights was 1 running light, 1 blinker, and 1 headlight.

I've got an HX....and all of my lights come on when running the headlights.

might be because u have single filament bulbs instead of double filament.

single filament: 7440
double filament: 7443

some people actually try to do this on purpose cuz they want their fronts to be all super white with no other color (like the running amber light) but still want to be legal (amber lights are a must for turn signals where I am). So the light stays off most of the time, and only turns on when it blinks.

i agree with WAWACITO. Most likely it is the bulb. That one you are talking about is or should be a double filament. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
