Roasted a Z24!!
i thought those things were fast!! Dont they have a 150hp??

On the way home from work, he was in front of me, he gave me the signal, the light turned green, and blamo, were off. I pull on him so bad I almost run into him, I swerve into the left lane, blow past him in 3rd and still make my exit 1500M from the light! It was sweet! He had a intake and exhaust, I could hear them, and he was lowered with stock steelies...it was sweet!! My first Cavalier kill!!

Im proud and all but were you SURE it was a z24?? because i know you can buy the EXACT same badge that comes from the factory at pepboys or the like. z24's should be able to beat us, i had a friend that had one very nice car and ran low low 15's i think they run 15.8 stock. I don't think it was a true z24

sorry dude, but from my experience, that had to be either a fake, or the driver didnt know how to race worth sh*t...

Yeah a z24 shouldnt really have trouble beating a normal civic....unless he was drunk or didnt want to waste gas, or both. Actully did you race a new z24 or an older one? The new ones I belive are a lot slower than the older models....

nah man, it was the latest gen Cav, It had Z24 stickers...maybe it was just a reg 2.2L.

actually, i can smoke the early 90s Z24s, but not the new one's. maybe it's just because the engine's don't hold up so well. I raced a new Z24 once, and it pulled sooo hard through 2nd. raped me

Ya they got 2.4L DOHC thats almost a 50% bigger engine, I sure hope they can smoke us!
