So owned domestic compacts last night...

Well last night I had a three way race lined up between me, a V6 avenger auto, and a 97 Z24 5 speed. Well they were both edging up on me since I wasnt really in the racing mood I just gave them liek a 3000rpm rev. Light turns green, I give them the launch since one was an auto and we are even until about 20mph. At that point me and the Z24 begin pull about a car on the Avenger to 50mph, after that I pull on the Z24 and by 80mph I am about 2 cars ahead. Well I do the two brake tap to signal that I'm done and guess what? They both come flying past me once im stopped The Z24 turned off but the Avenger wanted a rematch. This time I used my MaDD AcT cLuTcH pOwaZ and killed him by about 4 cars by 60. After that he just stayed behind.

For curiosity's sake.......how much of a difference do you think your clutch makes? And how much did you pay for it?

Clutch makes a pretty noticeable difference in launching the car, feels alot stronger off the line if done right. It engages alot quicker, so I can't edge up in traffic anymore which is a PITA sometimes. The clutch disc was free for me since the clutch was damaged in my good ole' accident. I think it was $600 and labor is right around $500 or so. I would only do it if yu want to drive your car hard alot and don't mind a little more of a pain in traffic.

I raced a Z24 with intake and Exhust in my Stock Ex 2 Dr Auto ,and I won LOL. They are either really slow or the guy didn't know how to drive. Good Job on the Avenger though

I would say the Z24 is more of a threat then the Avenger is... Avengers are *PIG* slow. I *BARELY* lost to one in my '92 Corolla 3-speed auto..................

At least the old Z24s were torquey... 3.1L V6..
