Questions about suspension

2001 Civic LX

I am trying to add coilovers, and new shocks to my ride. I am thinking of getting "TOKIKO" shocks but not sure about the coilovers. I have heard that ground control makes a pretty good pair, but who makes the best coilovers, or are most of the basically the same

thank you for any help

I don't know if there are any Tokiko's out for our cars yet. I do know that Koni Yellow's are out, and they were the first to come out. About Coilover's I'd suggest going with Groundcontrols and getting some Koni's to go along with em. Or there is another possible route.

that would be getting a complete coilover system, with the shocks incorporated into em. those are a little pricey and are probably the best route if your after the best handling. JIC and a few others make complete coilover systems for our cars. I think they cost around 1500 a set. maybe more.

Anyone know when the Tokico's are coming out, and if they will replace the front strut or just the shock. Also, where can I find these complete coilover systems? I was gonna go the groundcontrol/tokico route, but may be interested in a complete coilover system.

ground control coilovers with KYB AGX shox/struts. itll save u money over the tokicos (less u get the cheap-o non adjustable blues). Plus eibach makes the psrings for GC.

KYB hasn't released shocks, or set a release date for that matter, for 7th gen.
