i hope this is the right place to put this, but yea..

I was looking around on ebay, (as everyone does) and i was checking out the guage clusters. Snce i have an 01 dx, i do not have a tach on my guage cluster, which gave me an idea. I saw on ebay taht there were some instrument cluster bezels that you could buy, like this:


This actuallly gave me an idea.. Having a dx cluster, the side cluster-areas (where the fuel and temp guages are supposed to be) are useless. I was thinking if one of these pods on the bezels could be a tach and the other could be any other guage, like this:

if anything, the tach could fit a 3 1/2" tach or something..

if we get some people to sign up, could we be able to get a company to make some for us? i dunoo, this could be a long shot, but just an idea

Its always possible, but doing small run injection molding is kinda unlikely. its expensive to tool if someone's not going to be making a **** pile of them. You'd have more luck buying the generic, cutting one of the pods off and molding a cup for a 3 1/2" tach in place of it.

just swap in a EX cluster :P from a 01, its a direct swap.. enjoy
or if u want to get more intresting, get an 03-04-05 cluster and swap in that.. white led sweetness its just swapping a couple pins.

yea i know.. but rare to find. u know any where i can get it anyways? i live in mississauga too
