06 SI Spec Sheet
I got my Road Track mag. today and they have a whole review on the 06 SI. The did all the test. They got the SI to do a 1/4 mile run at 15.1 sec @ 94.6 mph and 0-60 in 6.8 sec, they launched the SI at 3000 RPM. For you Autocross it pulled a .85g on the 200-ft skidpad, and got through the 700-ft slalom going 68.6 mph Here is the Spec. Sheet that I got.
Don't foget about the REP

Skidpad rating isn't very impressive, even a 2.3 Mazda 3, with worse OEM tires pulls between 0.87-0.89 depending on which magazine you're reading. Looks alright all around though, 15.1 isn't too bad for a 3000rpm launch w. stock tires, seems to have started drinking the fuel a bit more too, but I guess thats expected.
edit: skidpad doesn't necessarily make it better/worse for autocross, weight, gearing and engine make a difference too, plus its very much a factor of what tires the car comes with and the suspension setup

Eh... that car is gonna hit the shores of Puerto Rico in the $28k-30k mark... I hate living in an island...
133ft 60mph-0mph stopping distance, yowzers. That's great!
Final drive is 4.77:1...
78dBA maximum sound output in 1st gear... loud! (For being stock!)
"Understeer is to be expected of a front driver, but the Si with its limited-slip differential pulls the car around the skidpad efficiently." Cool!

what a pig, I gotta get a CRX or somethin, I can't stand how freakin heavy these cars are getting. new Cobra is pushing 3900lbs and an Si that's almost 2900.

With all the tech and safety crap going in to cars now-a-days, 15.1 secs for the 1/4 is pretty good. Heffer or not, I'd still buy it if I had the extra cash lying around. "Outstanding suspension..." that sounds great with all that weight.

I am also going to get a 06' Civic Si and while I was doing some reasearch on the ride I found this website:

A few pics of the new 06' Civic Si in gray and a canyon run video, dyno video and speed limiter test. Looks good to me. I like how the Si just fly's around the corners. I cant wait!!
