trunk lever

The lever on the floor to the left of the driver's seat on my 2002 LX seem to be stuck. It allows me to open the gas tank but not the trunk. I think i can fix it if i could get access to under it's plastic cover. Any idea on how to do that without recking anything or anyways to fix it?

Thanks

Hey man, Ok first did you lock it? If not you need to pull the plastic panel off where gas/trunck lever sit, the lock barrel will come off but the lever. Once you have it off you'll see a crescent shaped wheel down inside. Assuming that you're looking down at this from the left side of driver seat, twist the little wheel to the left, it should and click and you should be able to pull up and truck lever. Hope this helps

The covers are just clipped in, easy to remove. Someone on here provided this as well http://www.geocities.com/pfeifferper...oesNotWork.pdf
