There's haters everywhere. I think the Civic's are the most hated cars on the planet... seriously (I still love mine though).

A couple of weeks ago I had my car in a local car show... during the show one of my buddies who drives a Jetta comes up to me and says "that guy over there hates your car... he hates Civic's". So I ask... What does he drive?? to where my buddy responds "nothing... he doesn't own a car." So I tell him to tell the guy to go fvck himself get back on the bus and get the fvck out of here what a retard! I was seriously thinking of drop kicking him.

This has happend on more then one occasion. I hear people all the time saying "I hate Civic's".

It's sad that some people have so little self-esteem that they have to put down others just to make themselves feel a little better.

For me, buying the reliability of a Civic was my number one priority -- if I'd wanted only flash and speed, I'd have purchased something else (and spent a whole lot more).

amen, i cant wait till my turbo setup and other stuff is put in this winter, im hoping on 200-210 whp and when im capable of burning alot of these cars in more than the 1/4 mile ill be so happy.
although two of my good friends went in on a 11 second flat mustang (full on race car built just for the track and they got a hold of it for 3 grand.....(im not asking people to flame on about fords here either)

i was the same way when i owned my corvette, and look at me now im driving a civic and proud of it. the 12 step program helped lol j/k. now that i've been bitten by the import bug i like to **** other people off, so i went out and had a decal made up that says "Got Rice?" on my rear window just to see other people's reactions. IT'S FV*KING PRICELESS, many laffs

it's strange because most people that call us ricer's are outside the "circle" so they don't see the whole world of imports they only see the few kids with beat up jalopies spending wut pennies they collect for knock off ebay parts that they think make their car look cool but all they're doing is bringing the rest of us down.

Also because most kids who are doing this to their cars are just doing exterior mods not actually getting gritty and doing performance mods.

I can honestly say i've converted 3 musclecar guys into accepting that not all import tuners are like that. 2 mustangs and a dodge 1500 truck guy. Hell the truck guy now says he's looking into getting an acura integra gsr.

Me personally i just do wut makes me happy, i want to make my car stand apart from others. I try and do a 50/50 split when i buy stuff i try and get one ex. mod and on per. mod. i just have to stop buying performance mods and save money for a body kit now lol
