liljoe is an unknown quantity at this point

it is the intake for a turbo. most (drag) race cars have an intake like this directly into the turbo. you don't really need a filter or anyhting.

Check out the supras that look like they have the turbos molded into the hood. It looks really cool.

you won't have a problem if anything carbon based gets in as it will most likely burn up easily, a rock on the other hand would be a HUGE problem, that is why those aren't run on regular streets.

It is strictly for track use. It is to get more air into the engine. Kinda like a funnel that will allow more air to go through the turbo.
