Rear deck?

How hard is it to get the rear deck off? Anyone have any input on this, cause I want to change my 6x9's and don't know whether or not I should do the rear deck thing myself. Also, I need some suggestions on what to do with my amp, subs, etc? I was thinking of doing the spare tire thing and mount the subs there, but it would be too much work and I really would rather have it in the traditional style (box with amp and all that stuff screwed onto the back.) At the same time, I want a professional look to it. Anyone have any ideas?

You can get to your rear 6x9 speakers through the trunk.

The rear speakers are top mount........so you will not be able to switch them out via the trunk......you have to remove the rear deck

Its not that hard, I was surprised how easy it was. I got my uncle to help just incase, but everything just snaped off and with a bit of pulling and prying it was all out. Then you just do the speaker switch and put her all back together. BAMM! your done.

I havent done anything like that before either and was quite nervous but now after I have done it, there is no need to worry about it.
Good Luck.

It was quite easy. Follow the DIY. Just don't lose the little white clips holding it on. If you do lose one of those, I suggest taking them off the ones on the side panels. This way it won't cause a nasty rattle and if you buy new ones you don't have to take the whole car apart again. Stupid stupid me!
