if you can borrow a car that would be cool but don't waste your money. and for the comment about having to be treated like a 12 yr old due to the ones who do act 12.. i agree on every level. high school sucks and as a co worker of mine put it, "in 10 years you'll kinda remember it all, and then in 20 it's a blur, and after that you don't really remember and no one else will either." also for those who graduate in june that sucks! next week friday and i'm outta that dump.
I really don't think it matters what car you get. Only you will know if you can be responsible with it. You just have to be honest with yourself.

Take the GS430 or get a limo. At my prom, I rented a limo for my friends and me, and while it was just a status thing to show up everyone else on my end, it was actually really nice. I enjoyed just being able to call the driver and say "We're getting ready now. See you in five" and the guy was outside waiting for us. It felt very pimp.
