RSX can definitely do the 14s. high 14s I think with a good driver...
now the engine in a civic? u still gotta factor other things.. granted it'll be a lighter chassis but think of the crappy stock firestone tires we got... no traction at all. sheesh.
tell me u got rid of those firestones, htown.
in either case, encouraging news )

Htown, will you be interested in selling those 17s? I might want them depending on what kind they are. Also, you could just bring them with you when you come down to LA so there is no shipping costs.
I've already got a friend in Houston whom I promised I would them sell to. He's going to have his g/f check it out this weekend and see if she likes them (it will be for her Accord). However, if they decide not to buy I'll shoot you an e-mail.
Just talked to Jeff today - he is going to get back to me sometime this coming Monday to give me the go-ahead to come to LA. I've got some biz to take care of next week, so I'm shooting for 2nd week of April to come down to Fullerton. Jeff has some hookups at a local car dealership and can get an ignition key made in an hour (barring any unforeseen difficulties); he pretty much guarantees that the motor will be up and running in a few days. Things are quickly falling into place now...

from my understanding the only diff about the rsx is that everythign is sittin on the opposite side? if that was so couldnt u not only take the engine but take everything out of the rsx engine bay and just swap it? things like abs.. battery.. a/c? and if the engine bays are the same.. would all that stuff just fit into place? so in the end it would jsut mirror the rsx engine bay, in terms of where everything is placed? i dunno just a thought.. could be totally wrong.. << And this is the last msg I am going to post about the legitimacy of the engine. I've got enough things to worry about with regards to the motor swap without having to sit here defending myself or the person whom I bought the engine from. >>
Finally. It's not like it's their business anyway if they're gonna be like a ***** about it... >>
Sounds like everyone's more jealous than anything that you have the engine....good luck

I've already got some stiffer springs (GC coilovers) and adjustable struts - that should be enough. The new motor shouldn't weigh more than 50-60 lbs. more than my existing engine. I'll see what ImportBuilders thinks about it, though.

I've heard good things about Importbuilders. Best wishes to you, kuzyn, hope all goes well; you are laying the foundation for what will be THE fastest generation of Civics to date.
