trade in?

ive been thinking heavily into trading in my ex coupe but im not sure if it's worth it. i went out today to look at some cars including the rsx-s, itr and wrx. the wrx was fast but has an ugly interior. i will get to test drive the other two tomorrow afternoon after work, though. ill prob get the 2002 rsx-s for roughly 23k and the 2000 itr for 25k. is it worth getting hammered when i trade in my car to get a more powerful car? it seems like you i need to spend $100 per horse power on my civy and i dont think it's worth it. how much should i expect for my car as a private party and trade in? if i dont get a good deal, im gonna just keep my civy. what do you all think?

i would see what you could get for a private party sale and list it for sale for that price, then decide on getting a new car if you find someone to buy it. that way you dont get ripped off giving it up for trade-in value

25k for a 2000 ITR??? Can you say Rip off. Not even a 2001 goes for that much. My opinion? Wait for the Lancer EVO VII. Oh damn thats gonna be one sweet car. But if you can't, the RSX-S would be my next choice, however when I test drove it it felt quite cheap....I have no experience with the WRX... good luck findin a better car

the spineliess dealer slapped me in the face and offered 11k for my 01 ex with >7k miles on it. i'll be sticking with my civic until i sell it to someone with a spine. i test drove all 3 cars and the wrx seemed the cheesiest out of all 3. the itr was nice but i dont want to be worrying about some hater keying it. it'll be the rsx-s as soon as i sell my car. anybody know when the rsx-r will be out? worth waiting for?
