interior advice
well...i wish i had gotten a black civic with the dark interior but i didnt....and i can't change that now....instead now i have the total opposite...a 02 WHITE civic with BIEGE/tan interior.....its a bi*ch tryin to think of things to do to the interior look, especially since i want my overall look to be white/blue ...so i can't get blue sparco racing seats or their blue/black steering wheels....all that in mind ... i realized i can't have blue on the interior without lookin tacky as HELL.....
so i come to you, good people of 2k1civic.com forums....to suggest any ideas no matter how crazy or insane about detailing and customizing the interior that you might have......
THANK YOU

Hum... White and tan aren't too bad, just like HondaChic mentioned. If you want more options then swapping out the interior with a civic that had the dark-gray interior would be one option. Look in junk yards and see if they'de let you take it for free since you'de swap in your interior.
Maybe dyeing and paiting your interior would work. Especially if you wanted to make it darker than it is. You'de have to rip everything apart and do some major painting though. Actually, painting isn't all that good since it's just a thin coat. If there is a way to dye the interior really dark then I'de go with that instead.
Besides that? Hum... Who knows?

If you were to have all your seats covered in 2 tone (black/white) leather, then just Swap the rest (Dash etc...) for a dark interior it would look damn fine on a white civic. IMO. or even get Sparco Torino's in Black and White, then have the rear seats done in 2 tone leather.

What if you rented a 2k1 or 2k2 civic, swaped all the parts, and dropped it off at a DIFFERANT lot than the one that you picked it up from
You think they would notice?

I'm not sure if they do it over where you live, but there IS a way to Dye Leather. I'm not sure of the cost. But it's much cheaper than re-upholstering your interior. Vynil can also be dyed any color so that could help in the color change of your dash, etc. HOWEVER, you can go for the beige and WHITE or the BEIGE and SILVER look. Those two look prettty good together.
If it was me I'd just steal some vynil from work, we make the vynil that honda uses for the dash and glovebox anyway, so it's not like there would be a big diffrence.

Dude, that would totally work on a red civic. Remember that red civics come with a dark interior on the EX's and a tan interior on the LX's. I bet they wouldn't notice.

You can try a wrecker for interior parts, or just take the interior out and bring it to an automotive shop that does convertible tops and interiors and have them dye it to the color of choice
