NEED HELP TAKING OFF!

Anybody know a way to take off at the light fast, because i have an auto and i usually rev it in Neutral and when the light turns green drop it in Drive and take off. Anybody know a better way. I don't understand the trick about one foot one the brake and the other on the gas. Also, will the way i do it mess up the trasmission or anything?

YOU ARE GOING TO SCREW UP YOUR AUTO TRANSMISSION!!!!! Do not drop from nuetral to drive while revving. If you want to launch properly, then power brake. Step on the brake and then press the gas pedal up to the point before the car is about to inch forward. When your ready to launch, release the brake and floor the gas pedal.

Boohaha is right, but if youve got the auto, theres nothing you really can do that wont damage the car.
