i'd go with a used s2000, or the STI. maybe rx8.. but not the rsx.. not out of that group. maybe if you were saying "new civic modded, or rsx modded" but not when you can choose an STI or something.

yeah if he's going to go with a rsx, might as well wait till the 06 si comes out and get the lsd stock.

What's up 5.0? We going to hit up Honda Tues.? See what's up w/ the V6 Ex Accord Coupe. Still think a new Civic and a lot of money for mod would be cool. But the V6 Accord it tight!

Not true actually! The dealer just won't tell you they are telling the government...

Nice car indeed, but its a first gen rotary for their new lineup...... could be trouble down the road.

#1 costs too much, #2 insurance will be SKY HIGH, #3 fast as hell only means he will get lots of tickets. Fast != good.... PERIOD

actually (if you are referring to a CTR) then it will only be reported to the govt as a watch for money laundering. They will do NOTHING ELSE with it. It has nothing to do with taxes etc, so who really cares. Also, any instutition who has the ability to file a CTR also has the ability to file a suspicious transaction report to the govt as well, and structuring your transaction at 3 X $9000 is a HELL of a lot more reason to watch somebody and be suspicious then just lump sum payment of over $10k, trust me.

Are you kidding me? The renesis is the result of 30+ years of development of the same layout. The 10A->12A->13B->13B-T->13B-REW->20B->Le Mans 787B -> cousin of Renesis.

The rotary engine has very few differences from incarnation to the next. The largest difference being two to three rotors, turbos, and relocation of exhaust ports.

Other than that, small differences.

well, if that is as true as you say, then the prospect still scares me! I have known several people with RX-7's and they all have massive piston oil seal problems all the time.

My point was, this is the first year in a while to use the rotary, and first run of any car is usually not all that good and full of bugs. Look at 2001/02 civics!
