Rep Power: 287 i'd go with a used s2000, or the STI. maybe rx8.. but not the rsx.. not out of that group. maybe if you were saying "new civic modded, or rsx modded" but not when you can choose an STI or something.

Rep Power: 310 What's up 5.0? We going to hit up Honda Tues.? See what's up w/ the V6 Ex Accord Coupe. Still think a new Civic and a lot of money for mod would be cool. But the V6 Accord it tight!

Nice car indeed, but its a first gen rotary for their new lineup...... could be trouble down the road.

Are you kidding me? The renesis is the result of 30+ years of development of the same layout. The 10A->12A->13B->13B-T->13B-REW->20B->Le Mans 787B -> cousin of Renesis.
The rotary engine has very few differences from incarnation to the next. The largest difference being two to three rotors, turbos, and relocation of exhaust ports.
Other than that, small differences.

My point was, this is the first year in a while to use the rotary, and first run of any car is usually not all that good and full of bugs. Look at 2001/02 civics!
