get falken azenis for tires...awesome and affordable especially if your going with 15's...can i suggest maybe beefing up the width to 215 or even 225? 215/35/15 are good numbers u'll love the grip, if you want even more handling grip, get 225/35/15 (but will be a little pricey), or u can always go to mopac and pick up some wheel spacers...they're like 8 bucks a piece or something for 3mm and a little bit more for 5mm...

as for the vafc2, u don't need 2 sessions of dyno tuning to tune a vafc2...if the people suggest you come back for another session to tune it, then they don't know what they're doing, or they're just taking their time to make more money off of you..(unless ur getting it for free of course)

for header, it depends what kind of power you want, if you want torque or if you want horsepower...if you want torque, stick with the 4-2-1 header...if you want hp, go with 4-1 style header...

filter, why not just get a cold air intake or sri? u can get a generic one for about 60 bucks...but you will lose torque if you go with cai/sri but gain hp...it will work perfect if you get the 4-2-1 header, the power will balance out...(personal suggestion, get the cai that is 2 piece) in summer you can have both pieces to draw air from the road (colder), and in winter (or if it's raining) u can take that piece off so you'll just have a short ram intake...

good luck with your project

with the mods listed...

I have to agree with the hommie above about the Intake idea and juss grab a generic cold air intake.....and the tire suggstion, I never new that 15's come in a 35 profile, thanks Patrick for that tip, I will look into that and yes Falken Azenis are some freakin awsome tires...

same ish as the ones a name brand one..

but with the vafc2 IMO i think you dont need that with the mods that you have listed because your car is not heavily modified or with anything major that needs it, yes its nice looking but even with tunnin not much aint going to be done....

and the Custom timming thing.....uhhhhhh......I would only screw around with the timming if you changed the camshaft..

not to low blow ya.....but there is so many other mods at the price range that you can do which would be more bennifical...maybe a throttle body, hummm maybe a camshaft and timming gear....

SOHC VTEC motors, preform very well with an aftermarket cam, especially ones from Crower and Exospeed...

other than that good luck with your plans...hope it turns out great

^actually for an older d-series engine..by retarding and advancing the timing is actually very benefial...but it's hard to tune! yes, i believe 15's do come in 35 profile, but that's the smallest...or i might be completely wrong..haha..but i'm pretty sure they come in 35...as for the vafc2, u'll get roughly 5whp out of tuning it (that's what i got)...as for cam gears...it's all the same...go pick up a second hand one or some generic one...whatever tickles ur fancy...as for camshaft....it would be awesome if u could find the rare spoon sohc camshaft for the d16..but it's soooooo rare...that would definitely add u some serious power...i seriously can't think of anything else u can get that is cheap and beneficial...maybe just the 3 basic engine bolt-on's (intake/header/exhaust)....u might wanna consider msd if ur planning to screw around with a/f ratios (due to the vafc2)...

WOW Thanks guys.

Yeah about Vafc2 its not very usefull I've been reading other reviews and it's not tickeling me no more but the cam is still and other little things but lost alot money cause of major stupid bills so mods are going to change little but hey it's all about the finishe projet and they always take about 3 year with me. ( 3 summers ).

and I'm a summer late.

I'll look in to the spood D16 cam or other's and new intake system, Acura doesn't approve the apc canadian tire special one hehe it's making my engine light, light up when it's cold outside. timing is back to stock for now, cause of Acura. Remote starter a must still ( for winter) flywheel and clutch, when the clutch it starts too fails, ...

hey If I had
-CAI + header 4-1 + stage 1 cam OR spoon + 13bls flywheel new better grinping clutch. WOuld getting a costume programe chip help for all around tuning. like to get the max out of everything.

P.S. I not looking for ( sqeelez in 4th gear type of power but what stock WHP on these thing are like 98 WHP and 93 WTQ I think. If fallowing those numbers, Naturaly aspired I would like to make 20 to 30 max. gees I think 15 WHP would do it but I am high to score equal you know. let me know about possible set-ups.

I going shopping for a cam and header and intake. hehe.

if you got cai, header, cam, flywhee and clutch...yes, a chip would definitely help...i suggest if anyone gets an aftermarket cam to have a different ecu just because the timing is off and the air/fuel ratio will be all messed up...if you also go with this setup, please change ur exhaust...remember..the more air going in, the more air has to come out....by only changing the header, ur only helping it out a little bit...but for the entire catback, that's when u'll get the best hp....i'll also think u'll be pushing close to 115-120whp if u change ur cams....since they do the most hp gain out of all the mods for a d-series n/a...

just my 2cents
