The speakers should come with their own wiring. If not then you're going speaker wire shopping.

Ok, so i'm going to go buy some of the accessories I need to hook up my amp and front components (today probably). So far this is my list:

I'm assuming my 4 guage amp kit will have something similar to:
18' Of 4 ga. HPM Blue Power Wire
3' Of 4 ga. HPM Clear Ground Wire
1 x Platinum-Plated ANL Fuse Holder With 150 Amp ANL Fuse
17' Of 18 ga. Amplifier Remote Turn-On Wire
1 x Platinum-Plated Super Surface Contact Grounding Terminal
10 x 7" Wire Ties
Protective, Snap-In Wire Grommet

I will also buy:
- 12-16 guage speaker wire (speakers didn't come with any)
- RCA cables

Is there anything I am missing for this installation? What about spacers? Will I need these? The mounting depth of my speakers are:

Mounting Depth: 2-1/16" Mid/Woofer, 1/1/4" Tweeter

What kind of spacer do I need?? whats a good brand? Also won't the speaker vibrate against the spacer? Won't I need to buy material to sound deaden it? Is there anything else?

Just get a scosche or metra spacer kit, there's a specific application for the 2001+ civics (which will also fit our cars).

Damn, I'm struggling. Can't seem to find a place that carries a spacer kit for 2001 civic. The local shop doesn't have the kit specific for a civic. Anyone have an idea where else I can look?

Look up Technobay in the fone book. They will have it, just be sure to have the part number (search the ICE forum on this site, I'm too fuqtup to look it up).

searched the forums, couldn't find a part number. Well some people were talking about the scoshe sah6 adapters: http://www.cardomain.com/item/SCOSAH6

Do you know what the part number for the metra adapter is? Couldn't find it. Does technobay sell the metra adapter? What kind of adapter do you use telly?

That's the one. I used the Metra version of this - looks exactly the same. Technobay can get the adapters I'm sure of it.

Ok, so I called technobay, and they are gonna order spacers. I don't know what the part number was, so I hope they get the right ones. SHould have it in a day or two. I was looking at circuit city, they have metra spacers and adapters, i'm not sure what the difference is. Which one do you have telly? I listed the links below:

Also, I am thinking of buying some sound deadening material. I saw 50 sq. ft. of B-Quiet Extreme selling on ebay for $60US. Is this good? I would like to sound deaden the front doors.
