Who mods their 7thgen???
I would, but the more I read about how little bolt ons do for you, and how expensive swaps are, I am beginning to think that the 7th gens aren't currently very good choices for tuning, so I'll have to stick to audio. Anyhow, a bit off topic, 2 questions: Does anyone ever want more power in everyday driving in their 7th gens? And also, if nitrous would help in this area (like a 35 shot, very small anyway), I didn't think it was legal to use it on the street...?
Anyway, we'd all probably be better off trying to do performance mods on our next cars (maybe an old integra or something).

Even the bolt-on mods I did like exhaust/intake are solely for looks and sound. Performance in terms of handling - I'd like to say I did well with what I've got, definitely makes cornering more fun and confident.
I'm gonna focus on my interior and exterior cosmetics and ICE, and suspension/handling. I don't see a swap or FI (the only proven ways to make significant power) coming any time soon.

i felt power gains on all my bolt-ons. v2, evo-2, dc headers. Besides I got them for cheap, 200 headers new, 300 evo-2 catback, 150 for intake a while ago. The most gains I felt was from the intake, then the exhaust then the headers. Dont quote me on that though cuz its from experience.
Nos is illeagal, but cops cant really tell. I was next to a cop car on a stoplight and used nitrous throughout first and second gear. The cop didnt do anything. And 35 shot wont last you. WHen I wanted to get nitrous, I told myself I was gonna get the lowest setting but ended up using the 80shot. 35 is pointless.
Never go cheap on the suspension because thats an important part.

I'd like to do some performance mods, but it doesn't seem like there are many good performance mods outside of a swap or turbo, which are both pretty expensive, and a nitrous kit, which is illegal. By the way, if you WERE to get caught with a nitrous kit, you'd have a pretty hefty ticket on your hands, and you might get the thing confiscated. Personally, I just want a little more oomph sometimes on the daily drive.
By the way, kornsined, love the avatar...it looks pretty sweet...it's awesome...it's..it's...it's INCREDIBLE!

I spend most of my $$$ on exterior/interior stuff. rims, lips, grill, sounds, lights, seats etc.....

Only a few suspension mods for me. The car feels much tighter now. More fun to drive. But no engine mods. Useless anyway. Other than that, I keep it looking as clean as possible.

suspension, wheels and tires. looks and handling only
only thing i've modified under the hood is bending the reservoir in the way of the neuspeed bar.
