Rep Power: 273 What a load of crap, first of all who says this is a Saleen SVT Cobra anyways? Looks like a late 90's GT. At least we know it's V8. Second, the guy probably wasn't even racing. Third, the vette is like at least 4 times the price of the tang, so you'd better be able to beat it from a roll. These are the same vettes that hope to stand a chance against a viper. The guy in the tang is obviously no idiot... did you notice the red pickup like 20 meters infront of him? Yeah lets race, duh.
That is not an ordinary rabbit tis the most foul cruel beast

also how can you get so upset after watching this video and ranting how it was unfair and there was a truck? first of all i think it would take effort from the cobra to beat a corvette especially this sc one. and don't think i'm hating cause my friend has a cobra and my other friend's dad has a zo6 and i've been in both and believe me there is no comparison. oh and take away a cobra's supercharger and you'll probably have someting slightly better than the gt. oh and i'm not a mustang hater, because i like them and my girlfriend has one and i've recently started to work on a fox body to build up. What really eggs me on is people who blow a suitcase full of cash and then race against easier less expensive cars to feel special. Where's the honor in that?
I wish I had videos to prove it, but my buddy bought an old mustang for like $9k and put in $8k worth of mods, did all the work himself, and absolutely wasted cars again and again that were well over the $35k price tag.
Mustangs have huge potential, the vette is already maxed out. But maybe I'm wrong, cuz all I know is the vette is a huge waste of money.

Nice VID! But a Mustang and Vette are not really in same class. That mustang being Mustange Cobra 390Hp and 1999 Corvette stock 350 (supercharged, obviously over 450). So of course its easy to see the winner. Fan of both cars. The recent vette was compared to the Porche Carera in a mag I read. I think its cool the mustang was the first muscle car, and one of the few left!

Rep Power: 0 actually the mustang was one the first muscle cars but not the first. I think the first muscle car was a gto when delorean got pontiac to put a larger engine which would normally be the size for the larger sized boneville inside the mid size vehicle so it's much faster. i saw this on kings of the road.
