this is almost as bad as some protestant/catholic bull ****.... this thread goes on and on and on, just because you fight so hard on something you pretty much believe... not know... Honda dude, RIP!
he..hee
my first post and it had to be about Honda vs Toyota
I live in Singapore and in Asia, the perception for many years is a Honda is about performance, and this is often the expectation across its range: from Civic, Accord, Integra etc up to NSX ... you get the drift
those of us who love Hondas have always have to pay more than a Toyota or a Mitsubishi, I guess the manufacturer can do this primarily due to the reputation it built in F1, CART etc
No other Jap factories can put anywhere as much acclaim to its engines compared to Hondas, hence you get the marketing gimmicks like VVTi, CVTi
which is nothing but variable valve timing compared to the ingenious VTEC mechanism
The only reason that Camry has got it right in the last few years vs Accord is because they recognise the value of a bigger car, and this is where the folks in Honda choose to be different ...
but for sheer pride and enjoyment of driving without showing off brute muscles, I'd go for honda ANYTIME
Toyota makes good cars but I am not ready for the predictable
peace!
