I find it hard to believe Honda would do such a drastic change. Look at how the 5th gen progressed to 6th then 7th. The overall body style remained pretty close, no major changes. This 8thgen doesn't look like it came from Honda at all. Unless somebody posts up that Honda fired its entire design team after the 7thgen rolled out, then I refuse to believe it. Partly because if this comes out as a Honda, I will cry.

The hatch is so popular overseas though...they have like 10 different models over there. I go the CIvic brochure from a colleague in the UK..it's a damn book.

Rep Power: 0 remember the article a while back??? it looks just like it. obviously this is disguised to death so the true looks of the car remains disclosed until further release date. that pic is a SPY picture, don't kill urself if they look ugly cuz spy pics are always ugly as ****. granted that it's ugly (hope not), i know 97% of yall didn't like the 7th gen civic when it came out but yall bought it anyways. it's relatively quick to place judgements on new changes but it takes time to getting used to it and appreciate it. i personally have to see one in person to judge a car.

Rep Power: 304 Usually Hondas have cleaner lines. So I'm guessing they will make a good looking civic. The past few gens have had nice shapes. 7th gen has an amazing shape, its the best looking ecno car out there. The shape is one the main reasons I went for a 7th gen instead of a 6th gen.

You got it. Europe gets a Type R and it costs 16 000 pounds. More than $32,000 USD. Why would you buy a civic for 30 grand when we have a lot of other great cars at that price. 30k hatchback is a little much.

Rep Power: 0 well, i wouldnt buy a hatch in the first place (with the rsx-s and celica gts as an exception) so im going to wait and see what the coupe looks like. That is a hatch version so the coupe may look way different. Look at it now, the Si and the coupe look waayy different, and that could be the case here... at least i hope

Man it looks like ***. It makes the Mazda 3 (or a Focus if Ford gets off their *** and releases the 2nd gen in the US) look better and better if I decide to buy a new car. It looks like a Citroen badge belongs on it.
