Do you all relize that most people that buy the Z and RX8 buy them bc of how they look and not because of performace reasons... If I wanted handling I could have bought a new Lotus... If I wanted speed I could have bought a new C6.
Jap cars are far off the pace in straight line speed but in handling they are almost evenly matched.
Now talk about reliablity and there is no equal to the jap. cars. Out of the 3 I have owned I have not had a single problem. However with the single domestic I have owned, a 98' Z28 for the 1-1/2 years I had it, it was in the shop 7 times.

EPA Hwy 28 MPG
My manager has a 2004 Z06 and got 27 mpg on his trip to New York City (From Reston VA).
