Do You Think It's A Bargain To Buy A 2003 Vw Gls For $14000~16000?? My Friend's Girl Is Selling Her Car But Doesn't Want To Sell It To The Dealer. And It Only Has 8000 Miles On It. There Are Bumper Scratches, And Minor Things, But No Major Damage.

8000 m & already minor problems? I pesonaly dont think it a great deal. I sold my 01 Golf Gls when i got my civic. It was a POS burned oil from the day I bought it (Vw said its normal), had to have both O2 sensors replaced 3 times, mass airflow sensor once & various other problems in the 2 1/2 years (28000 m) that I had it. In gl or gls trim they are also pretty slow. Only VW i would buy now would be a R32 or a Wolfsburg, since they are still produced in germany not mexico.

NO NO NO i owned a VW dont go for it, too much too!! If buying a VW only get the R32 i owned the 20th Ann Edition GTI and it was awsome but started problems after 5000 miles!!! No Go man Dont do it

is VW that bad?? i thought VW Passat would be better than just regular golfs, or jettas, or even better than civics (don't hate me for saying that~~!!). the minor problems that i was talking about was dents on the bumpers or chipped paint cause that girl didn't really know how to drive.

Like its not bad its just no civic u know, like my windows started messing up at 5000 miles, the engines are nice but all around a Honda is where u want to be. Plus i think dubs arnt that confortable, civic are real nice!! But i wouldnt pay that much!!
