I know its slow dude but I gave it a good kick in the butt. Try it out can't be more dramatic than your SRT-4 I'm sure you've gone more than 125. Neck braking acceleration. I was impressed by the abrupt acceleration in an GTI 1.8 Turbo, SRT-4 must really turn a knot in your stomach.

Rep Power: 0 yeah, my stock civic, no i/h/e, nothing, nada, zip. It made it to 120 in 4th, 110 in 5th. I have a 01 LX Coupe by the way. you can go faster in 4th if your manual. I dont go more than 5 over the speed limit anymore. Its stupid, sometimes I go faster, but not crazy. I get pissed at people flying by going 100+ (little kid ricers most the time) I chased one kid down in his del sol, cuz he went in the suicide lane about 100 MPh when I had both kids in the car. We pulled up at a red light, and I cussed him out, than chased him for a long time, than just left. He would have gotten toasted in a race, stupid punk

stage 3 turbo (which is not out yet but expected 335 whp not street legal) is expected to put it at about 12.6 (viper srt-10's go 12.5 lol)
I just wish it wasn't FWD

totally strip and gut the car out. no doors, nothing except sheet metal. no radio, ac, powr steering, alternator. running straight of the battery.
with that much wieght out, 12's are possible.

even with all that weight the neon is very heavy. cast iron block
and FWD sucks

Look Farage, If you hitted 125 and now you can't there might be a few reasons:
-were u driving on the same direction than the time you hitted 125? If it was going downhill you could get higher speeds than going uphill... duh...
Well, I believe that might not be the reason. Now:
-Do you do the maintenance of your engine on a regular basis?
I don't know you, but it happened to me once, and what I did?...
every 3000 miles, when the oil change time comes, I do a couple of things:
I clean the throttle boddy with TB Cleaner (wich cleans the intake manifold runners, intake valves and even helps to keep the pistons with less carbon. I even drain a Fuel Injection cleaning system on the gas tank. Check the spark plugs every time.
After a few oil changes and those other things, I did noticed that my car were responding better, idled a lot better and the top speed were back to normal (I take off the feet of the gas at 120mph so that my car's top speed for now)
Wheel disalignment is another reason that DRAMATICALLY affects the car's top speed.

Rep Power: 280 anything in 14s and less starts getting really interesting. 13.3 is sick!, its funny you can make porsches cower in shame. Note many porche owners own the carrera which still costs an arm and a leg and probably never take it to the track. Its kinda the car they use to get through their midlife crisis.

since you guys are talkin about neons there is this chick in my town with a brand new srt4 her bf dumped 10 g's into the motor and was dyno a couple of weeks ago at 450 whp this thing is ****in sick and the thing is the chick is a milf.... damn she is ****in hot
