steelies look even more like ****.........i roll with steelies right now cuz they are my winter wheels and i don't put the hubcaps on cuz salt and cinders get in behind the hubcaps.

I think the whole idea of steelies started with the high school street racers....hubs tend to fly off when your runnin from the cpos like crazy....that and at the track you cant have them....

There wheels man! i don't drive an Infiniti G35, I drive a simple honda civic ex coupe so what if in the winter my wheel are steel black. I really don't care how my wheels are looking when my car is sliding about in snow, water, ice and is is covered in dirt and salt. If you don't race or you just street race your a poser anyways so shut the hell up! Most of us regular guys go to work use there civic as a daily comuter, and actually went through the trouble of buying an extra set of wheels for the winter, instead of the stock wheels so we don't have to continously mount and unmount tires, and not ruin our summer wheels! You guys and your style this and that, GEEEESE!!!

Anyhow on a lighter note, AznboySfr said you could get 00 si rims for 275$. I'll take you up on that offer, there really good wheels , I read a thread and heard there 12 poudns each and there made by enkei. Heck wouldn't mind good set of rims like that for that amazing price.

stop with the no hub cap thing!? WHY!? Running w/o them adds a half second to my 1/4!! I went from 19.3 @40mph to 18.8 @42mph!! .....jk.

I don't really mind the whole no hub cab thing.....just makes the ricers easier to spot in a group to smoke.

But if you're like civic01vtec and roll on steelies w/o hubcaps for the winter cuz of the salt and stuff, then i have no problem with that. my .02

yea mind your own business.. ive been thru 3 sets of rims and have tuner lugs. i sold my rims and gave someone my stock honda lugs and right now i am on steelies with no hubcaps. you know why? cause the hubcaps DONT STAY ON WITHOUT HONDA LUGS. they just slip right over the tuner lugs because they are a lot smaller. so if i were to put my hubcaps on right now they would just fall off on the road.

tuner lugs are special lugs designed to fit aftermarket rims... since some rims have smaller holes for the lugs
