ohh ya curb weight new suckstang is 3500lbs
personal note I'm trading in my civic next year for maybe purchasing 1 of 2 cars I am interested in above based on my college student funds. i am ready to move out of the ricerocket boyracer and into a sports car

a true drag racer builds his own car. with the price of an new model car, going with a used car and going with the engine swap route is one of the better choices. you much more credit and props on the side.

wish I had the time to build a car from the frame up...at that rate though, you're going to have to drop a couple hundred thousand, run 8-9 second passes, and have a track-only car...
I'd rather keep mine street-legal for now...
^why not build a drag car?
its possible to take various parts from other vehicles into a frame and still be legal (depending on state location?). if those true muscle cars i see on the road are street-legal eventhough they roar like beasts and pollute our enviornment, then ill be damned.

It is still a Saturn just like the SRT-4 is still a Neon. Seems like the domestics are jumping on the FI banwagon.

i dont think honda would ever make a FI production car. their known as economy cars (well, in the states), great for their technology, and reliability. if they can squeeze 100 hp per liter on a 4cly going n/a, i bet their turbo's would be pretty dam impressive..
