03+ 4 cyl accord k24?

i heard that the 2003+ 4 cylinder accords were a k24. i don't know if this is true, anyone know? it must be a detuned version if it is, tsx has 200 hp where the accord has 160. sounds a lot like si to type-s.
just curious.

its true, altho the k24 is in more models other than just the accord..

its in the element and the crv as well
and its probablly got the k20a3 head on there it does have i-vtec

It's a different version of the engine. I don't know the code for the accord but the TSX is the K24a2. The difference is the TSX has VTEC on both the intake and exhuast cams while the accord, element, and CR-V only have it on the intake cam. Honda gets the fuel efficient engines while Acura gets the fun versions.
