We have really bad problem for every Honda Civic Coupe 2001+ in Europe,
because it has that annoying red light for days when there is too much fog in the air, see it yourself here below,
I don't know what to do? Please advices because those japanase really don't understand why they make this for European versions only, should i take new rear bumper or just put that light off and use something to fill it or what?
Where do you have that RED light in american versions?
Definetely i need red light to put in that light somehow, don't want special light to buy, and cant import a car from america (it will cost 150% of the price then) Thanks everyone for the help, i will really appreciate that, because i want to buy that car.

sorry but we don't have that light in the states. That light is only required in europe. If you want you can get an american bumper to replace that light .... but i think will be a little expensive for you.....
Red light?? The Side markers or what i'm assuming on the bumper to be a light that looks like a bumper sticker? Well, for either one, if ya hate the side markers, get american fender's or just disconnect or cut the power wire, and also for the rear bumper, replace with american bumber, or just disconnect or cut the power wire.
You could get clear sidemarkers instead of orange and just put some amber bulbs in there. For the rear, maybe some companies sell a clear replacement. Otherwise a new bumper from the states is your other choice. It won't be easy to just take it off and patch it.

If so get a bumper like the on in the picture below.
In the lower center part of the bumper you can put a red LED light bar that will hook up to ythe wiring for the red light in the bumper. Just a thought.

You mean the rear fog light on your bumper? From what I understand those are standard on all cars in Europe. IMO, keep it, you might run into trouble with the law if you don't.
BTW, thats cool, I didn't realize European Civics get the same rims we have on our Acura ELs here in Canada.

I saw a 01-03 civic in europe without the red fog light, but it was a sedan. Maybe its not required.

That red light on the bumper looks really retarded. It makes the car uneven looking. I say just get rid of it. I don't know how cops are in Europe but people here do all kinds of illegal lighting things and get away with it.
