this talon tsi is phuken bad.!!!!!!Its the same thing as a eclipse gsx. Its actually a pretty rare car. I have a lx civic and im dissapointed cuz he payed the same for his. But mines new i guess... We went to the track and me and him raced and i got 17's and he got 14's !!!!!!!! Huge difference........ this car is fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, i think that my car is so slow. Civics are too slow... performance mods arent worth the money unless its supercharger or turbo or nos..

I agree. Civics are slow unless they are really modified. Well if you have an eg with a B series then it would be fast, otherwise civics are slow; but not the slowest.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Also, you have to remember the reason that it is so friggin' fast is beacause they are AWD, at least the GSX is and they have a nice turbo with a nice tranny to it. But they tend to break down a lot more than our civics will.

Keep that in mind when you have to drive your brother to work because his turbo blew up because he shut it off to fast, with out letting it cool, or wind down, whatever the turbo does when you have to idle it before shutting it down.

AWD is ....talons have always been one of my favourite cars that are within the grasp of the average guy. Too bad they dont make them anymore....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] Maybe they'll start selling mitsu's in canada soon....

hey jdog, dont wanna be an a$$ but all wheel drive actually slows a car down...the hp is being divided up to all four wheels...you loose hp along the way (at every shaft & link)...the only advantage is traction off the line....I love eagle talons, they look good and move good too, but there's one big problem, thats the eagle part....its a chrysler or in simple term's garbage... the engine is one of the most problematic engines ever built that's why a car that cost twice as much as your 2k1, when it was new is now worth the same as your 2k1 a couple of years later.....your lucky you bought a honda, your brother will tell you this when he blows his head gasket next week...if you wanted to go fast and that was your main objective you should have done your homework.....right car company but right now, because its so new, wrong car...go buy a 92 civic h/b with a good body, and throw an h22 into the engine bay.... you will run high and reliable 13s all day long for under 10.000, you can spend the other 5.0000 you spent on your 2k1 into making the car a real head turner...simple.....

the engine from a talon is the same engine that is in the eclipse. so if there is ever engine problems you can't blame chrysler. its mitsu. actually DSM (dimond star motors). they have jdm versions of those motors that come with 225 hp and can handle 350 stock internals.

I checked out the TSI's before I bought my 2k1, definently fast off the line cause AWD, but they are not as nice to drive as the Civics are...sure turbo is cool and fun and fast, but maintenece sucks a$$, and I didnt wanna deal with breaking down, tell your bro to take it easy at the strip, ive seen about 6 talons drivelines very close up (they were laying all over the track).
